Well, I am in the process of implementing my idea. I have created the blog http://fsbomadeeasy.blogspot.com. I have begun cold-calling for sale by owner customers. So far, I've had a very positive reaction. This is definitely a service that's needed in this sluggish market. There are similar services out there, but I'm going to make mine different in the fact that it's unlimited usage for only $20. I haven't seen anything that cheap offered and if you do, please let me know.

I have several ideas on how I'm going to create my niche in the market. I'm not going to share them right now, but you will see them soon enough.

Journey Update 1

Well, I have come up with an idea that I think I am going to try and implement for my $20 challenge. I have created a blog, very similar to this one. It is http://fsbomadeeasy.blogspot.com/. I want to use this blog to make for sale by owner listings highly accessible, so buyers no longer have to drive around to find these listings. To start out, I will make this available in the Cincinnati area, but I would like to take it a step further when the money is available to invest in this idea. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or if you know someone who is selling their home without a realtor. I am charging only $20 for my services and time. This is an 80% savings from listing in the classifieds.

Why Make This Blog?

I am currently obtaining my MBA from Ball State University. My major is entrepreneurship. I plan to own my own business after graduating, but I need your help. See, I don’t know what kind of business I want to open. I have plenty of ideas, don’t get me wrong, but this program is going to help me come up with a “Million Dollar Idea” to take with me.

Currently, I’m working on a project for a course. It’s the $20 challenge. Here’s how it works:
You get someone to loan you $20, interest free, until the end of the semester. This will be your start-up cost, and the only investment you can make in your “business”. From this $20 investment, we have to turn a 700% ROI.

This is where this blog comes in handy. I’m looking for your ideas on this project. I am open to anything! Please help!

I will keep records on my defeats throughout the semester, so you can check in on my progress.
